Dear Community,
I am currently facing an issue to display what I really need in Power BI Desktop.
I have a dataset which looks like this :
ID | Date | Model | Brand |
1 | 01/08/2021 | AirMax | NIKE |
1 | 01/08/2021 | AirForce | NIKE |
2 | 01/08/2021 | NMD | ADIDAS |
2 | 01/08/2021 | BOOST | ADIDAS |
1 | 01/09/2021 | AirMax | NIKE |
1 | 01/09/2021 | AirForce | NIKE |
2 | 01/09/2021 | SUEDE | PUMA |
2 | 01/09/2021 | NMD | ADIDAS |
I have two slicers in my Power BI report : Date1 & Date2. They contain same values as "Date" column but there are not relationship between them in the data model.
My goal is to compare the difference between these two selected dates and to detect changes.
The result should be :
ID | Date | Model | Brand |
2 | 01/08/2021 | BOOST | ADIDAS |
2 | 01/09/2021 | SUEDE | PUMA |
Can you help me with this ?
Thank you for your time.
Hi @RookieUser
Something is not clear here, or I can't get it 🙂
Have you used the Date column in those two slicers? If yes, after you selecting two different dates on those slicers, the table will show nothing.
Would you mind adding more details to your post? Do you want to calculate the days between those two dates?
If this post helps, please consider accepting it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly.
Appreciate your Kudos ✌️!!
