Clock in clock out punches sum day

Trying to sum employees HH:MM work total for day from ADP sql and compare to our ERP system which has a format of HH:MM.

Each employee punches in for the day then punches out for lunch, punches in from lunch and the out for the day.  I have used DATEDIFF to create total minutes for each set of punches.  I have tryed several different calculation using the created "Minutes worked" column, from this site but cant seem to get each line in the table to calculate in the the table HH:MM and then be able to add the punches together to compare to the ERP system.

Hi @KingJoel ,

According to your description, here are my steps you can follow as a solution.

(1) This is my test data.

vtangjiemsft_0-1698201292968.png

(2) We can create calculated columns.

Working minutes = DATEDIFF('Table'[TimeIn],[TimeOut],MINUTE)
Minutes for a full day's work = CALCULATE(SUM([Working minutes]),FILTER('Table','Table'[EmployeeID]=EARLIER('Table'[EmployeeID]) && 'Table'[EarningDay]=EARLIER('Table'[EarningDay])))

(3) Then the result is as follows.

If the above one can't help you get the desired result, please provide some sample data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples. It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. Thank you.

Best Regards,
