Cannot calculate day of week name

My existing table has a date field call timestamp and I am unable to create a day of week name using that field. See the screenshot. Any suggestions ?

The DAX query works but i cannot pull the calculated measure to X axis. It will only go to ToolTips. Thanks ...

Try to plot table visual with timestamp column and a measure like:

Measure = FORMAT(MAX(TableName[timestamp]), "dddd, dd mmm yyyy")
