Cannont Convert Value Error

Like many others im getting the error that is inicating its returning test and not a value. However both columns (trade price, and % difference) are values and not text so im struggling how to get rid of this.

Here is one of the data sets. The other im pulling from a data cube through a direct query so i cannot screen shot that informatoin.

What do you want to achieve by creating this calculated column?

I cannot understand the logic of the way u have used the CALCULATE Function.

My intent was to sum the amounts of the trade agreements for each item for each company an multiply it by the % difference using the same filters of item and company.

Instead of a calculated column, it seems that you need a DAX Measure.

But I do not know your data model. your 2 columns are in 2 different tables. Provide more details about them as well.

Then we can handle it using measures.

I started with a measure first and that returned the same error.

Because you wrote the measure wrong.

Please provide your data model. Tables and the relationships between them.

Thanks

Im very new to writing dax and its still a little confusing to me at times so any suggestions are appreciated.
