Calendar function shows weird dates outside of the date ranges given

I am trying to use the calendar function for dates in 2022

result is 25-6-1894 to 6-7-1894 dates

weird..anyone has a solution..why this is happening

SEL = CALENDAR (01-01-2014, 31-12-2022)

That's not a valid way of specifying a date. Try

SEL = CALENDAR( DATE(2014, 1, 1), DATE(2022, 12,31))

Thanks for the reply and solution..it works.. the manual showed start date, enddate
