Calculating DAX measure for different levels of matrix

Hello, I've been struggling with calculating the standard deviation for different hierarchies of data.

My data is structured as follows: each row represents a value for a type (A-F). Types A-F belong to either Group 1 or Group 2 (Type A is Group 1, Types B-F are Group 2). I would like to create a DAX measure that calculates standard deviation at both the Type and Group level. The measure would be used in a matrix that has a Group --> Type row hierarchy.

For instance, I want the DAX measure to calculate the standard deviation for Group 1 and Group 2 (by summing up all the values in each Group for each date, and calculating the standard deviation of the summed series). But when I expand the matrix, the mezasure should calculate the standard deviation for Type A, standard deviation for Type B, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @kne29

please try

Result =
STDEVX.S ( VALUES ( 'Table'[Date] ), CALCULATE ( SUM ( 'Table'[Value] ) ) )
