Hello!
I have a requirement where I need to make a monthly running total of another measure.
Below is my monthly running total measure:
Cumulative =
SUMX(FILTER(ALLSELECTED('A'[Date 2].[MonthNo]),'A'[Date 2].[MonthNo] <= MAX('A'[Date 2].[MonthNo])),[Cash Flow])
It's not working and it's only displays the value itself of [Cash Flow]:
Unfortunately, it has a lot of measures right now and sensitive data that I cannot share the file. [Cash Flow] is also dependent to other measures of lower hierarchy and I checked them all & they're all right.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
@crln-blue , You can have like this example with date table
Cumm Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Table[value]),filter(allselected(Table),Table[Date] <=max(Table[Date])))
Hello @amitchandak ! Tried this but it won't work for me because the formula is for the sum of a table column. Mine is referencing another calculated measure. Thanks!
@crln-blue , this should work for a measure too , unless that measure is dealing with date table
Hello @amitchandak , yes, it's dealing with dates. When I input the formula you sent, PowerBI does not detect the measures which I will use with SUM.
