I'm new to Power BI and would really appreciate some help! I would like to calculate how many organizations were actively enrolled in my program at any give time.
In my dataset, each organization is identified by an Organization ID. Each organization has a start date, an end date (if applicable) and a current status. Organizations that are currently active have a status of "Active" and an end date that is null.
I would like to calculate how many active organizations there were at any given date. I will usually look at this by year (how many organizations were active in 2015, 2016, 2017, etc) but may occasionally need to look at this by month and year. I would like to create a graph or visual that shows the number of active organizations each year so that I can easily see the peak participation in our program.
