Hi,
I am pretty new to PowerBI and wanting to calculate the battery life of a product.
My data contains assets, all with a unique asset ID and associated operating voltage by date. I want to create another column that calculates the battery life for all assets that have reached 2.7 Volts. I started making the following if statement:
IF( [Voltage]<2.7, [dtRead.1]- first date measured)
but I am not sure how to determine the intial date for that particual asset ID. The sceenshot shows the structure of the data:
Thanks for any help on this!

Hi, @Anonymous
You can try the following methods.
First date = CALCULATE(MIN('Table'[dteRead.1]),ALLEXCEPT('Table','Table'[strOutpostID.2]))
Battery life = IF([Voltage]<2.7,DATEDIFF([First date],[dteRead.1],DAY))
Is this the result you expect?

If you do not have the original date (when the battery was inserted) and the voltage at that time you would have to go with the MIN function to find the first recorded data for that asset.
Please provide sample data that covers your issue or question completely, in a usable format (not as a screenshot).
