Blank in a slicer

Hi Team,

 I use the below DAX to get the default slicer selection as Max date 

Date =SWITCH(TRUE(),_Material[Pro Date]=MAX(_Material[Pro Date]),

"Latest Date",format(_Material[Pro Date],"mm-dd-yyyy")&"").

I am getting blank which the other visuals are getting affected.

Is there any way to get the date in date format instead of Latest Date?

@SushmaReddy , Blank can be there because there missing date in dimension. Means dates are there in fact not there in the dimension table. or the column have blank
