Adding measure to a visual table ignores my slicer

Hi all

I have a visual table being filtered by company from a slicer. The filter breaks when I add a measure in the visual table. Below are details of my issue:

  • The measure calculates the total number of "Excluded" customers coming from a fact table (Table_reports) with this DAX code:

          Measure =

           CALCULATE(SUM('Table_reports'[No. customers])+0,

           FILTER('Table_reports','Table_reports'[Exclude]="No")

  • The values in the slicer comes from a dimension table (Table_Companies)
  • The Table_Companies is related to the Table_reports with a one to many relationship.

Problem:

My visual table contains data from Table_reports. When I add the measure into the visual table it ignores the slicer, listing all companies instead of the selected company in the slicer.

Thank you for your help in advance.

@oj62012 It's likely the +0 causing the issue. What happens if you remove that?

Hey again,

Sorry, it actually worked! I'm not sure why it didn't worked the first time.

Thank you so much for your help!

Cheers

Hi Greg

Thanks for responding so quickly.

I removed the +0, I got the same results.
