Using persistProperties or Local Storage API

Hello everyone,

I have created a Power BI visual using React, I use this code to create my visuals : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/visuals/create-react-visual
In my code, I create a count boundary and click to increase the count value like this

const [count, setCount] = useState(0);

When I change page, or press [F5], my count value returns 0.In addition, I also have some other variables to save settings for my app. How can I save my value when I change page and get it when I go back. I read some old Message posts and some one use persistProperties, some one tell about Local Storage API. I dont know which one to use and how to use this. Any one help me?
