Hi,
I have created a simple file with twice the same column to demonstrate the rounding issue I face in Power BI query using the Transform/ Data type: whole number shortcut. You can see that my numbers are randomly rounded up or rounded down. How can I make sure that all number equal or above xyz.5 is rounded up, and any number below xyz.5 is rounded down.
Thanks!
it's not random rounding, you are seeing one of the financial rounding methods. Rounding - Wikipedia
if you don't like the result, use one of the many built in rounding functions Number.Round - PowerQuery M | Microsoft Docs
