Hi All.
We have a custom visual and have a request to support uploading images from local machine.
Current visaul accepts URL for the images.
Is it possible to cache an image in a report?
We would like to provide an option to specify image path from local machine.
In our custom visual update function, cache the image in the custom visual and/or report,
so that the image can be displayed in report deployed to Power BI service.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Theoretically, you can encode images to base64 format and store them in capabilities settings.
Kind Regards,
Evgenii Elkin,
