Good evening,
I've been trying out the Power KPI matrix to compare sales estimates vs budget and previous year. The problem arises when for a given channel, the estimate (see attached screenshot- column "resultado actual") is blank. This renders the whole line blank, when it should display values for the budget and previous year columns. (I've applied a filter on "sales rep" btw)
Is there something I'm missing?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
Paul

Hello @PaulDBrown,
Power KPI Matrix doesn't render any values if Actual Value is not a valid value (empty or null).
Please specify a valid not zero value for Actual Value to fix this issue.

We're going to release Power KPI Matrix 2.1.0 next week that supports zero values.
Once this version is released you might try to set null value to zero to render the column.

Power KPI Matrix 2.1.0 has already been released.
Zero values can be turned on in Actual Value group of formatting panel.
Please let me know if this feature meets your initial requirements.

Thanks @v-viig,
That's a real shame, since it renders the visual unusable for the purpose I had in mind. Which is a real pity because this visual is (was) a real asset since it seems to combine a lot of the virtues contained in a number of other visuals. It would be fantastic if there was a workaround or an update to allow for this kind of instances. But as it is, The risk of providing inacurate information is obvious unfortunately.
As a thought, is this event actually documented in the visual's descritpion? (because I think it's a very relevant characteristic)
Thanks again for your clarification,
Best regards,
Paul.

@v-viig, good morning,
Sorry to bring this thread up again, but since I'm patiently awaiting the new update on Power KPI Matrix, is there a way to know when the new update is published so I can keep an eye on the new release?
Thank you,
Paul.

I know this is several months later- but I recently added PowerKPI matrix to my report and I cannot seem to find the zero value setting (or indeed the Actual Value setting).
@Anonymous You can find "Treat zero values as nulls" under Current Value group of Formatting Panel.

Thank you very much for your reply- in a similar vein, can you tell me where to find the swtich to turn on Category and SubCategory is?
Categories can not be turned off by design.
Sub-categories can be turned off by removing columns from Category data-field.
