Overview Report - Product Component availability

Hi All,

I would like to develope an overview report about product component

capabilities about the report - 

1) It give option to report consumer to select any future date & see which all product componenent are available, which all in-progress & which all not started.

2) compelete timeline about available componenents, in-progress & not started etc etc.

Please do let me know if you have any input how I can develope this report. Thank you in advance.
