Hi,
I am struggling to find an article on doing non linear regression in Power BI. More specifically, I am dealing with power regression. So far, I know that Power BI is able to allow for a basic trend line on a scatter plot, but I am looking for the ability to create a non linear regression line that goes through my data points, and changes dynamically based on any filters applied. I am looking to do this with no external coding platforms such as R or Python.
Is this possible?
Notes:
1) I already have created a scatter plot, and I am just looking to create a power regression line that goes through them based on the formula y = a(b^x)
y = dependent variable
x = independent variable
a = slope
b = constant

Yes there is, you can do some slight modifications using LINEST function. I just need to dig up the article. I still think you might struggle plotting a line over a scatter chart.
Otherwise Deneb custom visual is an excellent and easy way to do non-linear regression:
