Month on month unique count colum total showing as "1"

I am trying to see the repeat instances for the last 6 months. 

Rows: instances

Columns: Month

Values: Unique count of instances

However, the column total of instances is showing as "1". I am unable to create a filter to show values greater than 2 or less than 6.

Is there a way to correct this? Or is there a way to create custom filter.

Please help.
