How to have date slider with just only Months and year

Hi All,

is there a way to implement date slicer with between function with only months and years like below image.

I have tried to implement this but i am unable to bring this so i had workaround where i have created two cards one with Mindate, Maxdate and placed it on the dates in slicer but this cards are taking some time to load . which looks like below image.

I also tried with Timeline visual from marketplace but that is too big to put in report.
is there any alternavtive workaround for this , any help is welcomed.

How did you make this workaround. I'm looking for the same functionality to use in a Power BI report, but don't want to use the Time Slicer add-on. Could you share your *.pbix file?

I haven't tried this myself, but maybe having "Month Year" column and put it into a slicer would do that?
