How can I remove the year showing on the X-axis with multiple years.

I having the hardest time getting my months to show up correctly in my visuals. Backstory.  I have finally got the sorting worked out in a chronological method for multiple years. I am using a dimensional date table (attached) to create a relationships with my data. I am using a rolling 7 month filter to only show my last 6 months. It took a while to get that worked out.

As you can see from the photo below it shows both the year and abbreviated month (which I want the abbreviated month to show, just not the year). When I remove the year from the datefield in x-axis, it unsorts the visual.

The Dimensional date table has all the date info needed, and I thoughts I sorted to the right column. But doesn't seem to do the trick.

Thoughts on how to filter the year out, or remove it all together so only the months show up in chronological order (last 6 months showing) as is.

Here is a link in dropbox to the dim date table - Dim Date Table for relationship date

Appreciate any help. Thanks

Scott

Instead of Year and Month use a regular date column that you format as "MMM".

Are you referring to abbreviated month as MMM? If so, I ahve an abbreviated column with shorten month name. I've tried using that, but the year still shows up when I use the date field.

My proposal is different. Use only a date field.
