Export data in .xlsx file from a custom visua

I would like to export underlying data from a custom visual I developed. But I encountered the following issues on the server:

underlying data is greyed out because it has to be into .xlsx. Then if you see the sentence at the bottom, it says due to the data strucutre it is not possible to export to .xlsx. Why is that? What data structure?
