Hello everyone
I need to build a dynamic matrix table that all Rows, Columns and Measures change and build by the slicers. For examle if I consider 3 diffrent slicers like
Slicer1, Rows: Employees, Customers, Branches
Slicer2, Columns: Years, Condition
Slicer3, Measures: TotalSale, TotalProfit
The matrix build by the users selections to what they want to see and have in the matrix. I mean, the attributes that they need to have at that matrix change by the slicers.
I provide a conceptual picture of what I need to do.
Also, I dont want to Unpivot my tables or just dynamically change just my rows. I need everything build by user request.
Thanks a lot dudes
No other thoughts on this? So, there is no other solution? Other apps like Qlik and Tableu have this
At the risk of sounding curt - Have you considered using these other apps instead?
Enable "Personalize visuals" and teach your users how to use that feature.
Thanks
You mean this is the only chance to do this? What if that I want to do it through another way? Not by the users
because we have this in Qlikview
It's a fantastic feature. Your users will love it. Ours do.
Actually we have this kind of report in Qlikview, and it works based on the filters not users, and we want to shift to PowerBI, without disturbing current method. I really hope to find a way to build this
Trying to migrate reports from one system to another verbatim is a fallacy, often called "Fighting the API". There is a reason we have Qlik, Tableau, Power BI etc - because they are different. They have different USPs, different UX paradigms, different backend engines. Embrace the difference.
