Cross-Filtering Implementation

Hi everyone,

I am trying to build a basic custome visual, where I have a drop down and when a value is selected, other visuals in the same report page must reflect the selection and filter accordingly. Im trying to use the Interactivity util package for the above. Can anyone share a basic code sample which explains the above or point me to a correct resource online to start developing.
