Changing the line color based on date in a continuous line

My dataset is till 2024 July - I calculated the running total but I want to either delete or change the color of of the line for the remaining year while keeping it continous for 2024 since it's flat - the highlighted area. How can I achieve this?

use two separate lines that touch at the end of the dataset.  They need to touch, otherwise it'll show a gap. So your forecast line needs to be constructed accordingly.
