By default, my custom visual's general formatting settings have the title and tooltip enabled. Is it possible to set both of these settings to false by default when the visual is created/added to the report?

Hi @IraJWatt,
You can enable suppressDefaultTitle in capabilities to prevent the default title, but it's not off per se. This may be what you're after, though.
Regarding tooltips, you can set the supported types, but not whether they're on or off by default. You might need to make a feature request for this if you need it.
