Hello All,
I have recently moved into the Power BI space from a data warehousing background. My organisation currently implement a policy where they only want employees using visuals that come out of the box with Power BI Desktop. Alex
Those should be the least of your concerns. The real big issue is data security. Many of the non-certified visuals ingest your data, send it to their company servers for processing and then return the results for rendering. That is obviously a big no-no in a corporate environment. With the certified visuals you get a guarantee from Microsoft that the visual is shenanigan-free.
