I decided to create this report because, in my experience, I have seen a wide variety of reports that we develop for our organizations or clients, but very few that provide value to all of us outside the business world.Rarely do we create reports that help us reflect on how we can act in favor of our society and the beings that inhabit it.
For this reason, the main objective of this report is to raise awareness about the situation of other living beings that have no voice but are part of our world. In this work, I present an overview of their history, their current situation, key findings, and possible solutions.Personally, this project has been a great challenge. Designing reports in Power BI is something that many of us can do, but designing them for a different audience than usual represents a completely different challenge. This led me to explore other areas of knowledge, such as the accessibility principles of the WCAG.
It took several days to create, but time becomes imperceptible when you work on something with passion ❤️ and with the certainty that it can help many people or, at the very least, convey a message of empathy.Moreover, I believe that accessibility and inclusivity are closely related. That’s why this report is available in three languages: English, Chinese Mandarin, and, of course, my native language, Spanish.
