If experienced this repeatedly within the last days:
When posting an answer with code, the code is being cut. Very annoying.
It shows perfectly OK in all modes: Richt text, HTML and preview but once posted it's being cut seeminly randomly:
just an example here: http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Generate-incremental-number-in-groups/m-p/20020#M6053
This happens with text/code being copied from Excel, Word or PowerBI itself.
Any ideas how to avoid that?

I don't see any code chopping in the thread you posted. My eyeball diff of the code in the code block and the code outside of the code block says they're identical.
I can open up the file you posted and paste in the code from the code block and get identical results to the query in the file.
The code block doesn't wrap text, but preserves line breaks as they are in the source text. This is dissimilar to the automatic reflowing that you get in non-code block text. You can always scroll right in the code block to see the rest of the line:

thank you very much for your answer - showed that this is a browser problem with IE 11:
1) The code formatted as code only shows 1 line:
2) The code pasted as simple text doesn't show the end of the lines - basically cutting everyting off after the closing parenthesis.
Thanks for pointing that out - switching to Opera solved this problem!
