This report is a detailed analysis of COVID-19 cases and deaths at the United States county level, based on data from the New York Times COVID-19 Github repository. It shows how rapidly the pandemic has spread across the country and which counties are the most impacted. Recently, I've made some significant changes to the file, including the addition of census data. Please note that the PBIX is downloadable and has 2 hidden pages with County choropleth graphs. The main data table (COVID) should refresh so that the report can be kept up to date. Users will find the following new metrics all at the county level:
Days to Double for both cases and deaths (the rate at which numbers increase by 2x)
Cases per 1,000 of population
Deaths per 1,000 of population
Population by age bucket
% of the Population Over 60

I saw your COVID Power BI report last night and wanted to request to see if you can attach to this post (or send me) the PBIX file. As background, I work for a New York (and Vermont) regional healthcare company (now all working from home) that is working to best support its members in this crisis. We have initiated a number of operational changes to our services already, but it would be really helpful if we could focus our efforts on our members on a county by county basis. Yours is the only Power BI report I have found that is able to look at the impact of COVID 19 on a county basis (and is linked to a data source that is being updated daily). It would be really valuable if I could use your Power BI report as a base and customize it for our two states & counties. Thank you for your quick response to this request, and understanding. This is a difficult time for our members throughout New York (the epicenter right now) and Vermont and it would be good to see how we can adapt quickly, and help other healthcare companies as they experience this rapid expansion in their areas.
