Power BI Licence Question
I need info on using PowerBI off of Azure, in a local network environment. Is there a developer cost if our developers needed it to develop dashboard for project? Is there a server license for PowerBi to deploy those dashboards as part of an intranet internally? Is there a user license cost? Can I even use PowerBI outside of Azure?

When installing Power BI Report Server, you can choose either Evaluation (expires in 180 days) or Developer edition (free), or enter a Product Key which you need to purchase. If you have purchased Power BI Premium, within the Premium settings tab of the Power BI admin portal, you will have access to your Power BI Report Server product key. If you have a SQL Server Enterprise SA agreement, you can get your product key from the Volume Licensing Service Center.
Either way you license Power BI Report Server, “publisher” users who publish Power BI reports to the report server for others to access need Power BI Pro licenses, whereas “reader” users who merely view reports don’t need any per-user licenses.
