Do Power BI report server support OLE DB driver?

As the title described, if we defined Power BI desktop that loads the data source from OLE DB driver, will it able to publish to BI report server (on-premise) and share the web portal to each web users?

Additionally, I noticed the Power BI desktop version and report builder are similar, but the report builder has just subset of BI desktop version's functionalities. So will the functionalities in report manager be ONLY supported in Power BI Report server? what’s propose for each ones?

    Hi jammy,

Power BI report server currently only supports live connection to Analysis Services (tabular or multidimensional). OLEDB is not supported now. See: Connecting to data sources. Publishing PBIX reports from Desktop will require a Pro License for production usage.

We can install Power BI Desktop optimized for Power BI Report Server. This is a different release from the Power BI Desktop that is used with the Power BI service. It's used to create pbix file, while report builder is used to create rdl files. You can learn more about Power BI desktop from below links:

Is there an approximate timeframe for when Power BI Report Server will be able to connect to a relational data source through OLE DB or otherwise? We have a project that we'd like to use Power BI Desktop for, but we would need to be able to publish it to RS using a SQL data source.
