Solved: Power BI refresh error — “The specified culture is not supported” (`en-PK`)
I was getting this error while refreshing my Power BI report. My Locale for import was set to English (Pakistan)
Here’s what fixed it for me:
1. Open Power BI Desktop → File → Options and settings → Options.
2. Under Current File, select Regional settings.
3. Change Locale for import from English (Pakistan) to English (United Kingdom).
4. Click OK, save the file, and refresh.
Changing this setting resolved my refresh issue. Sharing here in case someone else runs into the same error.
I have bin dealing with this error for the last 7 days and I have narrowed it down to Flows and Semantic models that links to a flow in my Production-environment in my pipeline fails, with the same error as you pasted. When I link it to my Test-environment or work in Desktop everything is fine. I have not found a solution jet.
