Adding Clickable Button

I added a clickable button but it says no formating options are available. How do I add action to this button? On the videos I can see that there are those options available for buttons but I cant fi...

    Which version of the desktop do you use?
    The format options should open automatically as you add a button

    (I checked it with regular and on-object interaction)

    If on your machine is not working try to reinstall PBI desktop.

    The button cannot be a part of the bookmark.
    It is just an object (like shape)...
    If you can't access the format options of the button then you have another object on it or something else...
    please try to delete and insert the button from scratch if it does not work,
    please share the sample pbix, I am afraid that without seeing it I can't assist more.

yes it does for me as well when I add the new button but not when I try to add an action for the existing button that is part of the bookmark
