In a Power BI app, Audience Management has a major issue, where Power BI audience modules DO NOT order in alphabetical order the users and becomes a nightmare to manage 100s of users to even see if they are in a specific group already.... How can I order those audience modules in alphabetical order? or is this just a bad design we have to deal with?1.5KViews0likes3CommentsLanding users to the Feedback tab for survey entry in PowerApps

I know my table password has changed but I can't find a way of entering my table password into the Power BI config screens. The database does not seem to require a User Name or Password but I am not sure about the tables. MikeSolved857Views0likes2CommentsUser mentions in a comment section of a report
Hello. Power BI online service has a nice feature with user mentions: you print @ and choose a person from your organization to notify. Is there a way to enable this feature in Report Server comment sections? By default the Report Server treats @ just like any other symbol and doesn't show any users.Solved1.3KViews0likes1CommentUsers getting error when accessing reports
Hi All, I am having some issues with users accessing reports that have been made that I'm hoping someone may have encountered or have an idea on what is going on. My organisation has a large number of reports within power bi which we control access through using user groups. These reports are for internal and external customers. Internal customers can see everything whilst external can only see certain ones. To make it easier for our internal customers to see what is available we have created an access point which has our branding and lays out our reports into certain groups. To access the reports we have buttons that use the URL of the report to redirect the user. What we are finding is that some people are getting error messages saying Unable to navigate to destination - this page may not exist of may not be a valid destination or Sorry, we couldn't find that report - it may have been deleted or you may not have access to view it. Everyone has the same level of access to the reports but these errors come up on random ones for random users. I've checked permissions, links etc and everythign is as it should be. If a user trys to access the report using the URL they can get in without issue (we have had one user who got in via the URL but then got locked out of the access point). Does anyone have any idea what might be going on here?Solved3.4KViews0likes2CommentsPower BI Report Builder - Find User Name From Power BI Cloud
Hello, Using Power BI Report Builder with reports running on Power BI Cloud with a data gateway, am trying to select the user name of the user viewing the report into a parameter. From the Built-In Fields in Power BI Report Builder have access to User ID which in Power BI Cloud defaults to the user’s email address (e.g. [email protected]). I need to exact ideally the user’s username (e.g. CORPX\johnsmi) or if not possible the user’s full name (e.g. John Smith) and/or the user’s first name (e.g. John) and last name (e.g. Smith). Is there a way to do this? The only other user Built-In Field that have seen is language. Thanks2.5KViews0likes1CommentHow to edit and stretch user session
Hi everybody, I am in trouble with user session length in Power BI Report Server. I found out it lasts exactly 1 hour and I need to change it because it's too short to me. Anyway, even if it's a basic configuration, I was not able to reach it. I read many articles, as https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/report-server/rsreportserver-config-configuration-file?view=sql-server-ver15 or https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/tools/server-properties-advanced-page-reporting-services?view=sql-server-ver15 and they looked proper to me but here I didn't find anything useful: I tried to edit some properties, but anything worked (session user was still 1 hour) and I haven't even found any option which was set to 1 hour (or 60 minutes or 3600 seconds). I think it shouldn't be difficult, but I am not able to find it. Please help me, it's really valuable to me. Thanks a lot NickSolved3.4KViews0likes5CommentsUser Access Permission Replaced by Domain Controller User Permission Policy
Dear all and support team, I have a case where my PowerBI report server is accessed by unauthorized user. After checking the log files and do some testing, I found that the user have an ADMIN DOMAIN role on domain controller and further checking shows all user with same role (admin domain) have a permission to access all reports whereas I didn't assign the user on user permission/authentication configuration. Is it possible to apply only configuration from PowerBI report server rather than domain controller? or is there any specific configuration/setting that we need to review & adjust? Any support will greatly appreciated, thank you rachmat590Views0likes0Comments
