Audience Management Issue: Power BI does NOT order in alphabetical order the users
In a Power BI app, Audience Management has a major issue, where Power BI audience modules DO NOT order in alphabetical order the users and becomes a nightmare to manage 100s of users to even see if they are in a specific group already.... How can I order those audience modules in alphabetical order? or is this just a bad design we have to deal with?
Landing users to the Feedback tab for survey entry in PowerApps
I have a last tab for the survey in my BI report and I want users to directly go to last page for feedback and get back to the current page after feedback.For feedback i am using PowerApps. How to move directly from First or current page to tha last and get back to current page.
How to filter a report by current user?
Hello everyone. I was asked to create a report that is individual, that is, the user accessing it will only be able to see its results. However, the user will also need to see the production of the team they are part of. The user should not see other people's numbers, only theirs compared to the rest of the team. I am importing the data via live connection from another report that is already used by leadership, but I am not finding a way to do this properly. Can you help me?
User mentions in a comment section of a report
Hello. Power BI online service has a nice feature with user mentions: you print @ and choose a person from your organization to notify. Is there a way to enable this feature in Report Server comment sections? Hello, Using Power BI Report Builder with reports running on Power BI Cloud with a data gateway, am trying to select the user name of the user viewing the report into a parameter. From the Built-In Fields in Power BI Report Builder have access to User ID which in Power BI Cloud defaults to the user’s email address (e.g. [email protected]). I need to exact ideally the user’s username (e.g. CORPX\johnsmi) or if not possible the user’s full name (e.g. John Smith) and/or the user’s first name (e.g. John) and last name (e.g. Smith). Is there a way to do this? The only other user Built-In Field that have seen is language. Thanks
Slicer Options depending on logged in User
Hi Everyone: I would like a Slicer that I have in one of my pages to expose (or not expose) products from the PRODUCTS Table based on the USER that is logged in from the Power BI service. So, for some USER, some subset of PRODUCTS should be exposed, and for some other USER another subset of PRODUCTS should be exposed. How do I do that? (NOTE: I think RLS won't work for me, because RLS will expose (or not expose) those same PRODCUTS from all other visualizations (other graphics, charts, etc) , that shouldn't be impacted by who is the USER. )
