Figma Custom Visual - Possible plugin
Hey there! I've got an exciting idea to share with you all. How about creating a Figma custom visual exclusively for Power BI? Microsoft already has a Figma API for Power Apps, so the groundwork is there. Picture this: we'd seamlessly import Figma wireframes or components right into Power BI with sick UI in PNG or SVG files (if that's doable). And to take things up a notch, let's make sure it supports importing component variants like hover, selected, focused, disabled – you name it – complete with their font and colour hex codes. Trust me, this would be an absolute dream and a total game-changer for designing in Power BI! Let's make it happen, team!
Allow resize window size and columns on Manage relationships window.
The recent change to the Manage relationships are nice. But can you please allow resize / maximise of the window as a whole and of the colums in the relationships table. Some table names are necessarily long and it's not at all possible to see the whole table name to know what relationships have been set. It would be nice to see resize window as a default interface function in all areas. But Microsoft is consistently not great at consistency. CheersPop Out Panes
I believe it would greatly enhance the user experience if Power BI adopted a more flexible interface similar to many Windows applications. This enhancement would include the ability for all panes within Power BI to be undocked and transformed into independent windows. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have the option to re-dock these panes in various positions, such as the left, right, top, or bottom of the screen. Furthermore, the introduction of customizable layout profiles, allowing users to save and switch between different pane arrangements, would significantly improve workflow efficiency and personalization. I'm somewhat surprised that such a functionality, allowing for a more dynamic and user-friendly interface, hasn't already been implemented in Power BI. Given its role in modern data analysis and reporting, incorporating these features would seem like a natural evolution to enhance productivity.
