Hi all, Strange thing here. I have a dax query which works fine in SSMS and in Dax Studio when I connect to SSRS-Server instance. But the same query shows for one column all null values in Report Builder when testing my report. What can it be ? Here is the query : EVALUATE SUMMARIZECOLUMNS ( 'Datum'[Maand], 'StockTerminal'[LocationName], 'YearChart'[GroupedCommodity], 'Datum'[Datum], 'Datum'[JaarMaand], 'Datum'[Jaar], FILTER ( VALUES ( 'YearChart'[GroupedCommodity] ), ( 'YearChart'[GroupedCommodity] <> BLANK () ) ), KEEPFILTERS ( TREATAS ( { "ARRIVED" }, YearChart[InboundStatus] ) ), FILTER ( VALUES ( 'Datum'[Jaar] ), ( 'Datum'[Jaar] = YEAR ( TODAY () ) ) ), "Qty", [Qty], "QtyPreviousMonth", [QtyPreviousMonth], "QtySamePeriodeLY", [QtySamePeriodeLY], "QtySamePeriode2YAGo", [QtySamePeriode2YAgo], "Difference", ( [Qty] - [QtySamePeriodeLY] ), "Difference2423", ( [QtySamePeriodeLY] - [QtySamePeriode2YAgo] ) )3KViews2likes13CommentsSSRS Subscriptions "To" Field Not User Email
Hi, I know this has numerous other posts, but I could not find crystal clear, satisfactory answers in any of them. SSRS 2019 When a user subscribes to a report in SSRS, the "To" field is pre-populated. However, it is pre-populated with their username, not their email. In our case, the username is part of the email, e.g. "[email protected]". I tried altering the SendEmailToUserAlias attribute in the rsreportserver.config file, but changing this to False merely makes it editable, and we don't want it to be editable. We want the email to show up. (If it is editable, users could have control over the email a subscription it gets sent to, and the point of the feature is for them to be able to set up subscriptions for themselves.) (Mine does let me edit because of elevated permissions, but "To" is appropriately greyed out for standard users) Changing the DefaultHostName attribute doesn't seem to either update the pre-populated email nor does it seem to constrain the domain to which emails can be sent (which could maybe be okay if we really couldn't get the true email pre-populated, but isn't desirable either). I put the same host name that is used in Report Server Configuration Manager for the sender address, which is on the same domain as user email addresses. In AD, the userPrincipalName is the full email address. The only attribute that seems to have just the username is sAMAccountName - is this indeed what SSRS is pulling from? I would rather not have to change this attribute, but I might be willing to if it meant that users could subscribe to emails themselves automatically. Is there really NO way to have the "To" field pull in the users email address?Solved972Views0likes1CommentSSRS Cilckable Images based on logged in user

I am using SSRS 2019, latest version, on Windows 2019 server. When I attempt to create a subscription, I get this error message in the SSRS log: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.ReportingServices.Cloud.DataExtensions' or one of its dependencies. We're experiencing inconsistent report rendering behavior for a SSRS/PBIR report (RDLP) across different environments. The report has been functioning correctly for 3 months until recently. Current Behavior: 1. Power BI Report Builder (Desktop): - Renders correctly with all expected data - Shows all 21 pages as designed 2. Customer Browser Access: - Only shows 4 pages - Incomplete data rendering 3. Developer Browser Access: - Shows blank/white page - No data rendered -Filters work and are selected correctly Technical Details: - Report Type: RDLP (Power BI Report Builder) - Data Source: Power BI Dataset - Recent Changes: None on our end - Duration of Issue: Recently emerged after working correctly for 3 months Expected Behavior: All environments should render the complete report (21 pages) with full data, matching the Power BI Report Builder preview. Impact: This inconsistency affects our production environment and customer experience. The report is critical for business operations and needs to render consistently across all access methods. Troubleshooting Steps Taken: 1. Verified data source connectivity 2. Confirmed report settings are identical across environments 3. Validated user permissions and access rights 4. Tested with multiple browsers and users ( IE, Chrome Opera) 5. Affects mutlible reports. Request: Please investigate potential service layer changes that might affect report rendering consistency across different access methods. Could you please provide guidance on: 1. Known service-side changes that might affect rendering, last update date? any breaking changes? 2. Recommended configuration adjustments 3. Any required updates to maintain consistent behavior I know this is in preview still but customers need this especially moving from on prem to cloud. #Claude generated text ๐2.1KViews0likes9CommentsReport builder measure issue
Hi community. I work with report builder, this time is my first report in this tool, I trying to display a table with measures, but I don't make a correct calculation. I mean. Country City stock orders Average US NY 100 30 0.0 US LA 130 10 8.0 So I have on SM this dimensions: Country, City and measures : stock, orders, average. the measure "average" is in fact, DIVIDE ( orders , stock ) so the correct values are: NY 30, LA 7,69, eg. Average is not aggregate in report builder because it is calculated in formule [Average] meanwhile stock and orders are sum. OK If I developmented this table in power bi report the measures are OK. Is there anything is way wrong? Calculation, expression or something. thanks in advance.Solved2.9KViews0likes12CommentsSSRS Subreport not showing
I am using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services Version 15.0.1103.12 (i.e. SQL Server 2019 Reporting Services). I am creating a report using the standalone Report Builder (v15.0.20283.0). I am querying an Oracle DB data source. I have a report that I would like to create that is a collation of other reports, i.e. a collation of sub-reports. However, I am running into an issue where the sub-report(s) do not show. There is no error or any indication that there is a problem, the sub-report simply doesn't show. Each of the sub-reports is basically a Tablix, and they do have a NoRowsMessage populated, so even if no rows are returned, a message should display (and a message does display when opening the sub-report on its own). What I would like to do, ideally, is populate the parameter of each sub-report with a parameter in the main report. So what I started with is a sub-report directly on the Body surface, and configured the subreport parameter "Year" to be associated with the main report parameter "Year". This seems to work. However, when I add an additional subreport, nothing displays. No error message(s), no subreport(s) - nothing. Basically, when I add a single subreport, it seems to work. Then, I add another subreport, and I get the error message below and if I refresh, no subreports display. Exception of type 'Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ReportProcessing+DataCacheUnavailableException' was thrown. The data cache for the report edit session is not valid. Rerun the report to create a new and valid data cache. (rsDataCacheMismatch) Sometimes, I won't see a subreport when there is only one subreport as well, but I assume that is some problem with the cache after having added and then removed a second subreport. On the other hand, this does occasionally occur even when I refresh the report and I assume that clears the cache. I've gone through all the iterations / implementations I can think of, and which I could find through a Google search, but I'm not having any luck. It seems like most of the information out there is for older versions of SQL Server Reporting Services as well, so I am left unsure why this is a problem. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated!Solved7.1KViews0likes7CommentsPaginated Report Background image
