I have an Image URL visualization which shows an image of the company that is selected in a slicer. It is live on https://www.talkingengagement.ca/municipal-culture-indicators All my images are publicly hosted URLs, in the right format. They all work except for the first image that loads by default. That image flickers in and out, and sometimes disappears completely. The data responds perfectly to the slicer, the flickering problem is only with the image. I tried to troubleshoot by changing the image, changing the number and order of companies in my data; the problem is always with whichever image is loaded first. In powerBI Desktop and MyWorkspace, everything is fine. The problemarises when the report is embedded, on all browsers. The problem is intermittent1.2KViews0likes5CommentsUnable to set default marker and line colours for line graphs
Both in desktop and service, even when creating new reports, setting a default 'all' category colour for markers and lines doesn't work. With markers, both in desktop and service, lines it works in desktop but defaults back to blue in service. I don't want to have to set a colour for every month on my graph!66Views1like1CommentFIX THE 'LINE GRAPH' VISUAL BUG IN LATEST VERSION OF POWER BI
Power BI Desktop 2.156.951.0 (July 2026) appears to have a bug in the standard built-in 'Line Chart' visual. Marker colour formatting is being ignored. Line colour updates correctly but markers continue to render using the default series colour. An example of the issue is highlighted below where we can see that the line graph markers should be displaying in matching pink, but the visual is failing to obey the instruction and is dispalying them in deafult blue instead.23Views0likes0CommentsPower BI Azure maps legend colours issue
Hello, Azure Maps visual displays correct marker colours in Power BI Desktop (on the bottom). However, after publication, the legend colours shown in Power BI Service (on the top) do not match the manually configured data colours. The map rendering itself remains correct, but the generated legend uses a different colour palette and cannot be manually corrected within the Service. It has been reported through several threads in the "Need Help" forum : Power BI Azure map legend colour issues - Microsoft Fabric Community Azure map legend colours incorrect in service - Microsoft Fabric Community It has seriously impacted several of my dashboards, do we have any resolution timeline for this bug? thank you Saul_Ring liz72194Views3likes3CommentsSalesforce Reports Broken when Grouped
As far as I can tell there is no support in Service for grouping by date so as an attempted workaround I created a summary report in Salesforce (technically we use a force.com CRM) that had such grouping. I created a new dataset that imported the regular report and the grouped report and while all the fields are available on the regular report as expected, the only fields available on the grouped report are "Record Count" and "Sale: Net On" the latter of which is the date field used to create the groups in the Salesforce report. What additional information can I provide you to help troubleshoot this issue?1.8KViews0likes4CommentsNew Explore Preview feature - Fields hidden in semantic model in desktop are not hidden in Explore
If a user (with build access) goes to Create then pick a published semantic model, there are some tables/fields that have been purposefully hidden in the model in Power Bi desktop which the user does not see. However, if the same user goes to OneLake data hub > selects Explore this data on the same semantic model (or accesses via workspace or report in app), those same tables/fields are visible. We believe they should be hidden through-out Explore as well.2KViews1like5CommentsPowerBI Online - Line/ Area Chart Issue after the July Update
After the latest update I am having this this issue on the online version of PBI where if I have a single measure in the y axis and some category in x axis (for example months) I am not able to change the color of the line. The box is greyed out. I can do it month by month it doesnt allow me when "All" is selected. When "All" is selected I get this message to select a series and color cannot be touched. All this with a fresh new report, in a fresh workspace. If we go back to my actual report, I can work on it on the desktop version and change the colour normally but when I publish it defaults to blue. Older line charts remain with their colour before the update but on the online version they are locked" Any help would be much appreciated.112Views2likes1CommentBookmark Bug after June Update?
Hey, I noticed today that updating a bookmark seems to apply to all bookmarks, instead of just the one I selected. This started happening after I updated the client to the June version. We have additional filters on our reports, that can be expanded with a button that triggers a bookmark. When I add an additional filter to the expansion, the filter shows up in every bookmark, including the one without the filter pane. We tried desktop and Power BI service with existing and brand new reports, none of it seems to work. In this postBookmark Bug? the same bug is described after an update last year. The resolution was wating for the functionality to come back. Is anyone else having this issue?54Views0likes0Comments
