Hi Champions I have published a BI report where when I use the link to display it, there are always a navigation panel and a page panel at the bottom which stop it from being viewed in an actual 'full screen' mode. Wondering if anyone know how to remove them? Cheers JimSolved1.5KViews2likes5CommentsPower BI Report Server + Power bi Client
Hello everyone. I'm new with Power BI Report Server and Power BI. I tried to understand the licensing of Power BI but it's quiet hard and nobody from Microsoft return my calls. We choose Power BI Report Server because we want to keep all data and put nothing into the cloud. I thought that when you take a licence for Power BI Report Server all people from the compagny can have access to the reports. So I create my report with Power BI Desktop Report, I store it on the Power Bi Report Server, then I publish it. But when someone want to see the published report, it's said that use the trial version for Power Bi. So I need to pay the Power BI Report Server AND all licences for every people in my compagny ? I totaly lost and it's hard to understand a thing about licences in Power Bi without anyone to speak with. Can you help me ? Sorry for errors, English is not my mother tongue Thanks Pierre Demolliens269Views0likes0CommentsIssue with data changing when published but only for one user
Hi, when publishing from Power BI Desktop to our report server, I have an issue whereby filtered cards intermittently show different values than those which are correct. E.g. actual value = 400, value shown in published report = 200. I assumed intially that this was the same for all users accessing the report, however, I've since discovered it's only affecting me - the person who published the report. Has anyone else experienced this and have any ideas as to how I can correct it?861Views0likes3CommentsHow to view parameters for the published reports in Power BI Report Server
Hi, How to view parameters for the published reports in Power BI Report Server. (Passing parameters to a Power BI report in Power BI Report Server). I can view edit the parameter on Power BI Desktop(Edit Queries->Edit Parameter). I need to see these parameter(s) after publishing. I searched a lot but i could not find. Kindly assist. We have hundreds of reports in SAP Business Objects which are going to re-create in Power BI. SAP BO has multiple prompts/parameters which is data is filtered when the report is run. Example of SAP BO prompts/parameters: (below are multiple) Thanks.484Views0likes0CommentsPublish dataset
some question concern on Publish dataset 1) it is safe to publish the data set to the Power BI service as having some security concerns data set like patient data? 2) can anyone view or download the dataset once is Publish in the Power BI service? 3) is there any other way to view full view and share with the team without Publish to the Power BI service web portal etc in my local computer588Views0likes0CommentsProblem with uploading of report from the Report Server after last update
Following moving to a centralised model on a workspace rather than an indivudal model being built in each individual report/dashboard we have looked to update our existing reports to all work from this one dataset in PowerBI. After recreating all the reports/dashboards with the new connection in PowerBI services, we have published them with the same name but found them to duplicate the report rather than overwriter (see screen shot below). Can someone explain how to stop this occuring, so that the publish overwrites the existing rather than creating another version? Thanks604Views0likes0Comments
