publish to web
Solved2.7KViews0likes2CommentsIssue with embed a report in a public website
We are trying to embed a report in a public website that is using an existing Power BI dataset. After I go to file-> "publish to web" and click on "create embed code" on the last window when I click on "publish" I see the text "Creating a code..." for like two seconds and it then fades off and nothing happens. We have embedded other reports in public websites without any issues. The only difference I can see for this report is that it is using an existing Power BI report. I have Admin (Owner) access to the Power BI dataset I am using in that report.1.4KViews0likes3CommentsPublishing embedded html reports without PowerBI Online and without username/password
Hi Everyone, We are trying publish a report from reporting server to embed in our portal, but this requires username and password to access these reports. I've tried to pass username and password with proxy servers (https://github.com/microsoft/reverse-proxy and NGINX) but this didn't solve the problem, reporting page still needs username and password. Also we don't want to use PowerBI online publishing tools to publish reports. We just want to publish reports with Reporting Server. What are the alternative ways to publish these reports?729Views0likes2CommentsReport Viewing Problem for my teammates
I made a report with my pro account and when I share it with my team, they can't access it because it says they need a pro account too. Why do my teammates need to get pro licenses for only view the report? Is there any way to see the report without Pro licenses?Solved823Views0likes2CommentsPower BI 'Publish To Web' traffic measurement
Hi, I've developed a Power BI report that I 'Published to Web' -- I use the embedded code and all is working fine. I've been trying to find a way to measure the traffic to the site. (example: users with the link can forward it to others; existing users have repeat visits etc) With MS BI support, I managed to gain access to the AUDIT logs and began 'recording' in both the Power BI audits and the Compliance (unified) audit logs. I get tons of activity from internal transactions as well as from NT Authority/System which is an automated synch up system (I think)... but nothing remotely referencing the website, it's pages (4) or anything else typical of a web log file when you can detemine visits, page durations, geo locations etc. In short, how can measure basic web metrics of a Power BI report that resides on the open web (i.e. using 'Pubish To Web') Thanks !!Solved2.2KViews0likes1Commentpublishing to the web (public) does not show the option to export to excel
Hi everyone Publishing to the web (public) does not show the option to export to excel (fully verified). Publishing with report builder for power bi requires the premium license and I have a pro license. Is there any solution without changing my license, maybe buying a powerapps or programming in .net? Thank you Angel1KViews0likes3Comments
