HI, I have a simple flow set up that's connected to the newly released Flow button in Power BI. When I click it, I get "Triggered" text, then "Run flow" text. The Flow then runs and works. However, after publishing the report to my workspace then sharing it to another user, the flow button shows "Unsuccessful" text and there's no way of troubleshooting it. I don't see a failed run for the associated flow. How can I further troubleshoot this?
Solved2.7KViews0likes2CommentsNew Power BI Update Does Not Allow Online Report to be Replaced
Hello, I noticed today when attempting to republish a PBIX report online that I was no longer given the option to override the pre-existing report given that they have the same name and workspace. Instead of the pre-existing prompt, I am now greeted with this: When choosing to replace, this only affects the dataset being uploaded and not the report itself. I don't want to have to reshare links and reshare permissions every time I go to publish this report, as the stakeholders of prior reports are used to navigating to a bookmark for consistency's sake. I'm not sure why Microsoft would decide to implement this evidently hindering change. Any thoughts on how to work around this? Thank you!807Views0likes2CommentsIssue with embed a report in a public website
We are trying to embed a report in a public website that is using an existing Power BI dataset. After I go to file-> "publish to web" and click on "create embed code" on the last window when I click on "publish" I see the text "Creating a code..." for like two seconds and it then fades off and nothing happens. We have embedded other reports in public websites without any issues. The only difference I can see for this report is that it is using an existing Power BI report. I have Admin (Owner) access to the Power BI dataset I am using in that report.1.3KViews0likes3CommentsPublishing embedded html reports without PowerBI Online and without username/password
Hi Everyone, We are trying publish a report from reporting server to embed in our portal, but this requires username and password to access these reports. I've tried to pass username and password with proxy servers (https://github.com/microsoft/reverse-proxy and NGINX) but this didn't solve the problem, reporting page still needs username and password. Also we don't want to use PowerBI online publishing tools to publish reports. We just want to publish reports with Reporting Server. What are the alternative ways to publish these reports?721Views0likes2Commentsdisplaying of dashboard
Hallo. Dashoard is not displayed on the web page. What could be the reason and how can I try to solve it? We, in the organization, publish our dashboards on the website as iframe. Since last week, they began to appear inconsistently. Sometimes it's just a white area like in the picture. In our group, everyone has a Pro license, we publish all dashboards in a common workspace, and from there we take a link for building in an iframe. At the moment, all dashburs occupy 443 MB of 10 GB. I made a report with my pro account and when I share it with my team, they can't access it because it says they need a pro account too. Why do my teammates need to get pro licenses for only view the report? Is there any way to see the report without Pro licenses?Solved818Views0likes2CommentsSome users getting message they cannot view content because of security.
We have followed the instructions and believe we have a secure link when we have published to the web our PowerBI report. We have created other dashboards and have never had an issue with it. We have had several users report they get the message below. This is the link: https://www.oregondatadecisions.org; Google is the domain name registrar and SquareSpace is the website host. We've ensured that the dashboard code is secure. The only thing that we can think of is that maybe since the SSL certificate just got turned on today, that some computers are not getting it yet. It says that SSL certificates can take a while to propogate across the internet. In case this isn’t the issue, I wanted to see if anyone knows how to troubleshoot this problem.
