Hi Community members, Here is the situation: Our PowerBI report use Oracle data source to import several tables, the data size is roughly millions. When release the report, it always shows overtime and fails. If maintaining current data size, is there any optimizing solution? (Server / PowerBi Operation / Data Source) Or does PowerBI itself has some limits in dealing with large data voulme?Solved2.2KViews0likes2CommentsPowerBI Server (On Premises) Features to view the past versions of the dashboard uploaded

Hi guys, I have 2 PowerBI report Servers; one runs on March 2018 (Server A) version and the Other runs on May 2019 (Server B) version, and I want to move all the contents from Server A to Server B. There is a lot of reports in the first Server (over 500 reports) and most of the reports are linked to each other; and I dont want to do this process manually as it will be time consuming. Can restoring the ReportServerPBI database of Server A to Server B do the tricks for me. Please advise, thanksSolved11KViews0likes6CommentsReport Server (Page) refresh is slow
Good morning everyone, I'm having a little problem. When I first arrive on my report server (Power Bi Report Server) or refresh the page with the browser, the page takes about 15 seconds to load. Once loaded, it's very reactive, and the same goes for the execution of the reports. However, the refresh or arrival on the report server is slow. Do you have an idea of the problem? Thank you in advance for your help, Beautiful day, Vivien1.2KViews0likes3CommentsScheduled Refresh failing immediately with COM error: "not found"
Hi all, We've started testing Power BI Report Server recently and are trying to configure automated refreshes. Our report is currently hosted on powerbi.microsoft.com and automated refreshes work without issues. Unfortunately, when trying to configure refreshes with the same credentials we receive the following error: [0] -1056505856: COM error: Microsoft.PowerBI.ReportServer.ASEngineManagedRoot, Datasource
IF OBJECT_ID('tempdb..#xxx') IS NOT NULL
drop table #xxx

IF OBJECT_ID('tempdb..#last_info_date') IS NOT NULL
drop table #last_info_date

SELECT xxx[long SQL query]} is not found.. Does anyone have any experience with this error? I am not sure why this seems to be happening.Solved30KViews4likes39Comments
