I am trying to come up with best practice to use Power BI online for my/our company. We have Azure SQL on the backend for Power BI reports, and we are moving everything into Microsoft space (One Drive or SharePoint). We are trying to figure out the best way for users in our company to access Power BI online report in a central location (on a browser). I thought SharePoint would be the best approach, but I don't know if there is anything else. Is there different platform/template that users can centrally access Power BI online reports (on a browser)? How does costs related to the license of each user to access Power BI reports work? If we use SharePoint to access PBI reports, how does license cost differ from using PBI online reports directly?Solved1.1KViews0likes3CommentsThe remote name could not be resolved: 'domain.sharepoint.com'
Hi everyone! I have connected my report to excel file which is stored in OneDrive through Web Connector. Refreshing from desktop app is working fine, however, when I'm trying to setup Data Source on Report Server it shows me an error: The remote name could not be resolved: 'domain.sharepoint.com' Earlier this worked fine with another files. Maybe someone knows what may cause this and how to solve this problem? Many thanks in advance, LB7.6KViews0likes1CommentOne Drive auto refresh on PBI RS
Hey, guys! What's up? I have an dashboard that uses a few data from Google Analytics, and I found out in the moment that I published on my on premise PBI Report Server, that was not a connector avaiable for auto refresh. So, OK. I did a little trick using Google Sheets, Microsoft Flow and One Drive for Business to create and update a *.csv file with the information I needed. Then, I went to my dashboard and create a new source with the direct link to One Drive, put my Organizational Credentials everything was beautiful until I deployed again to PBI RS. The type "Organizational Account" isn't avaiable on the schedule configuration. Is it really impossible put it an One Drive file on auto refresh?713Views0likes1CommentHow to Save Power BI Reports to one drive automatically?
