Power BI solution for business

I am trying to come up with best practice to use Power BI online for my/our company.

We have Azure SQL on the backend for Power BI reports, and we are moving everything into Microsoft space (One Drive or SharePoint).

We are trying to figure out the best way for users in our company to access Power BI online report in a central location (on a browser).

I thought SharePoint would be the best approach, but I don't know if there is anything else.

Is there different platform/template that users can centrally access Power BI online reports (on a browser)?

How does costs related to the license of each user to access Power BI reports work?

If we use SharePoint to access PBI reports, how does license cost differ from using PBI online reports directly?

    Hi, JustinDoh1

If you want users to view reports in powerbi service(Regardless of whether the data is on onedrive or sharepoint), then the PRO license is essential. Unless the report is in premium capacity, then free users can view it. If you don’t mind, you can use 'publish to web' feature, as long as the publisher has a pro account.

Reference: Publish to web from Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

If you still have problems, please feel free to ask me.

    Best Regards

  • v-janeyg-msft  Thank you for your feedback. I guess my focus is finding the best way for our company's employees to access the PBI reports in a central location. It appears that license fees would be same in either from Sharepoint site or directly from PowerBI link. I am so new to this, but what is common practice for business users to access PBI? I was thinking SharePoint would be easier way, but please let me know if there is other way or the best practice now days. As things are changing (as far as platform), I want to stay in a platform that would last long. Thanks.
