Ontology - Add Resources Unavailable
Hi All, I am a newbie to Ontology - so I am sorry if this has been asked before! Also I am still learning. I am looking to add in resources to the Ontology but in the new experience this has been altered and there is a "Resources" area, where you need to add in the resource but the add button is just not there - In the learn resources is states is should look like this I am unsure what I have done wrong. I will keep looking for an answer in the mean time. Thanks, for any help! Karen
Plan sheet error on Approval notify
Hi, I am getting this error when the approval is triggered on my IQ Plan sheet: (This is part of a Trial capacity in Fabric) The planning sheet has been configured with a text column with individual's email, seperately a Task Status column has been configured: IF(THIS == 'Submitted', NOTIFY_USER(M_8518803443058922917), "") I have tried both the scripted (above) and the UI (Approvals) button. Both have the same error pop-up. I believe it is the NOTIFY_USER that is triggering the error because if a value other than "Submitted" is chosen, no error occurs. I have verified the value for "Submitted" is exactly correct (in the formula and the list value) Any ideas on what might be causing this?
Fabric Plan tenant settings for session upgrades control
Hi there, I'm reading through the Fabric Plan documentation, specifically the "Control session upgrades" section. It states that administrators can control which users are allowed to upgrade to Planner and Stakeholder sessions through tenant settings. However, even as an admin, I can't find these settings anywhere in the Fabric Admin Portal. Am I looking in the wrong place? Could someone point me to the exact location of these settings or let me know if there are any other prerequisites for them to appear? Hi folks, I’m seeking for help to create a Multi-Dimensional Planning Cube. This is my setup: Adventure Works sample data storge in a Direct Lake Semantic Model Rows: 2 Dimensions from the Customer table Columns: Year, Quarter, Month column from the Calendar table Valus >measure „Gross Profit“ Please, take a look at my submitted screenshots to get a better idea of my setup. Anyway, I follow the instructions provided on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/iq/plan/planning-how-to-create-cube . Thus, I click: Insert Column > Number >Insert a new empty series Submit the title „Plan 2027“ Inserted as „Visual Measure“ Add a breakdown >make sure all dimensions are added >in this case market_en_name as well as product_en Click Create In every case I tried I also get the error "Pivot error: Hierarchy error: Input row hierarchy has no root node". Even though the message seems clear I don’t understand what I need to do with the row hierarchy. I tested: several dimensions a mix of dimensions Added [Driver Measure] !== BLANK in the Formular field >[Gross Profit] !== BLANK However, I always hit the same error. What’s wrong here? PowerTable Approvals: Affected Rows Show as Empty in Approval Request Details
Hi all, I'm testing the new Fabric iQ Plan feature and have created a PowerTable with an approval workflow set up. The approval process itself is working, however when the approver opens the request details, the affected rows section appears blank, except for the new value being proposed. Is this expected behaviour? It makes it difficult for the approver if they have no context of the change being requested. In the screenshot below, I requested to change the created date, the other columns are populated in the sheet but not showing here i.e. category, oem, os:Ontology: cannot add properties to relationship types
Hi all, I've been building a knowledge-graph project using Fabric's Graph and Ontology (preview), and ran into a limitation: Ontology currently lets you define properties on entity types, but not on relationship types. (I even tried adding edge properties directly on the underlying Graph of the Ontology, not just through the Ontology definition, but that didn't work either. But if I do it just on a Graph which is not tied to an Ontology, everything works.) I'd really like to keep using Ontology specifically, not just fall back to a plain Graph without Ontology. So I'm hoping to understand if this is fixable rather than being told to skip Ontology altogether. A few questions: 1. Is this a known/tracked limitation? 2. Is there a fix planned for it? 3. Is there a recommended way to model relationship properties in the meantime? I'm planning to talk about my project publicly, so I'd like to understand if this is expected to change soon or if I should plan around it. Thanks for any info you can share.

RLS not working in Fabric Plan, but works in the Power BI report
Hi, I have a semantic model in a Premium Capacity Workspace in Fabric where I'm just starting practicing how to build a Plan in Fabric. I created roles and assigned to users - I'm using my developer account and assigning to the users provided there -. The user Alex Wilber has Viewer role in the Workspace, is a member of the role for NA for RLS, and still can see all regions in the Plan, eventhough cannot see them in the Power BI report, there the RLS works just fine.
