Shape map in Power BI Desktop RS
Hello community, Last september, I created a report on PBI Desktop for Report Server which contained a shape map (with a TopoJSON file). But today, when I reopened it to do a modification, the component had disappeared from the visualizations pane. The visual is still present in the report, but it is not possible to add a new one (except by copy/paste the old visual). Is it normal that this component disappeared from the visualizations pane?Use custom visual MapBox offline
How can I add and use a map to a Mapbox visual for a Power BI report that is in reportserver that's offline. I have found maps in Json that can work. I'm also open for solutions with other custom visuals using images if that can result in a detailed map. I'm also interested in using ArcGis offline if anyone has a way of doing that too!
Published Maps do not show The Bahamas and Syria
Hi All, I'm seeing a strange problem with the standard Map visual in Power BI. Power BI Desktop (Sept 2019 version) - The map shows The Bahamas but does not show Syria. Published Report on Power BI On Premise Server (Sept 2019) - The map does not show The Bahamas and Syria. Has anyone seen this problem before? Other countries seem to show ok.MAP IN POWER BI
Hey! I'm doing a Power BI project which includes a map with different places marked by longitudes and latitudes. On the label that appears on hovering the mouse over each point, the information mentioned appears to me: longitude and latitude. Could anyone help me and say if it's possible to remove it so that it doesn't appear on the label? With reference to the same label on the map, I also have information that I would like it to emerge that is the budget executed for each project. This budget despite having it in coins and decimal numbers on the label is seen as a normal number. Any idea why it doesn't take it on coins? Thank you very much!!
Unable to view ArcGIS visuals published to Power BI Report Server
We are using the May 2021 release of Power BI Report Server, and have an ArcGIS Enterprise instance on release 10.8.1 with appropriate user licensing to create ArcGIS visuals. We have turned on all relevant switches in Power BI Desktop to enable use of ArcGIS, and even turned it on in our Office 365 tenant (although it won't be used there because all of our reporting in in-house). The report creators can log into ArcGIS while adding visuals to their Power BI reports using their Enterprise accounts, and everything looks perfect in Desktop. However, when they publish their reports to our in-house PBIRS and then try to view the visuals they get the following message: We've tried digging through both Microsoft's and Esri's documentation to figure out why this isn't working, but have not been successful in locating an answer. I am comparing two map visuals. One is showing before and other showing after. The bubble in each will show how much change occurs . When I plot two maps side by side, the values in each change but the visuallly it shows no change because the the bubbles in next vsual are adjusted to new values. So is there a way so I can set max and min value or any other way so I can compare the change before and and modification?Power Bi Map showing correctly on Desktop but not in report
So as the title mentions, the map is filling in dekstop just fine but in the report view data points are missing. This is not the first time and seems to be a consistent problem with maps showing in desktop but when publishing this report some dots are not displayed. Around 95% shows up, rest isnt found. Any idea what this could be?
