Shape map in Power BI Desktop RS
Hello community, Last september, I created a report on PBI Desktop for Report Server which contained a shape map (with a TopoJSON file). But today, when I reopened it to do a modification, the component had disappeared from the visualizations pane. The visual is still present in the report, but it is not possible to add a new one (except by copy/paste the old visual). Is it normal that this component disappeared from the visualizations pane?
Layer Order Issues with Map (Help)
I have created a custom map as part of my visual and am trying to overlay a shape with text on top of the map. I have selected maintain layer order for both the map and the shape as well as moving the map to the the back of the layer order and moving the shape to the front of the layer order but whenever the map is selected or a mouse hovers over the map, the shape with the text moves behind the map. Is there a clear fix to this issue? Everywhere I have looked has said to enable maintain layer order for both and move the map to the back and the shape to the front but this is not working for me. When the map is not selected or hovered over the shape stays in the front.
Query re bar chart and map visual
I am trying to create two visual I saw on a site. The data I have is very similar in that I have regional information, and trying to find out if any one knows how this might have been created? I did research deneb and other tools on visuals, but if aanyone can help guid me to the best way that would be really appreciated. The bar chart - its to permenantly show the data label offset off the chart. I created a measure for the data lable etc, but not show how to show it in the style of the chart (please see the url for an interative demo) The atlas vistal, I have regional information, but the closest I got to was bubbles on the map. How can I add and use a map to a Mapbox visual for a Power BI report that is in reportserver that's offline. I have found maps in Json that can work. I'm also open for solutions with other custom visuals using images if that can result in a detailed map. I'm also interested in using ArcGis offline if anyone has a way of doing that too!
Combining Multiple Measures into a Unified Pie Chart Overlay on Power BI Map
Hello Power BI community! I have measures for sales, gains, and losses. I aim to display their aggregate in a pie chart overlay on a map (power bi default map - not Azure Map), segmented by measure type. I have the location set on town name and it works fine but I just need the measure to show in one bubble. Essentially, the measures would be in the legend and the value. For instance, a town might display 25M in sales, 21M in gains, and 12M in losses. While I can visualize each measure independently on the map and segment with a dimension column in the legend, I need a unified view for all three measures that is segmented by the measure type. How can I achieve this with the measure as the dimension in Power BI? I believe I am looking for a calculated table with a switch statement, but I am not sure.Published Maps do not show The Bahamas and Syria
Hi All, I'm seeing a strange problem with the standard Map visual in Power BI. Power BI Desktop (Sept 2019 version) - The map shows The Bahamas but does not show Syria. Published Report on Power BI On Premise Server (Sept 2019) - The map does not show The Bahamas and Syria. Has anyone seen this problem before? Hi, I just recently started experimenting with the Azure Maps app for PowerBI. So far I've been able to successfully map street addresses. My question is whether - once geocoded - how can I export the lat/long pairs? When I export the data from the map with geocoded addresses I only get the fields from my data tables. Hey! I'm doing a Power BI project which includes a map with different places marked by longitudes and latitudes. On the label that appears on hovering the mouse over each point, the information mentioned appears to me: longitude and latitude. Could anyone help me and say if it's possible to remove it so that it doesn't appear on the label? With reference to the same label on the map, I also have information that I would like it to emerge that is the budget executed for each project. This budget despite having it in coins and decimal numbers on the label is seen as a normal number. Any idea why it doesn't take it on coins? Thank you very much!!
