Username and Password not working to connect Gateway
We have a PowerBI gateway to Databricks that username and password stopped working in the beginning of October. We have tried multiple users with access, and verified passwords have not expired, and we are getting: "PowerBI: [Microsoft][ThriftExtention](8) Authentication/authorization error occured. Error details: Bad status with no error message: Unauthorized/Forbinne: Status Code: 403" These same accounts are able to use access keys from Databricks to connect the gateway, but not username and password. All these accounts have full access to the Connector, PowerBI and Databricks. Some people with similar issues said to reenter credentials, this has not worked and we cannot use credentials at all... Only Access Token. Anyone input would be appreciated.
Sharepoint Gateway
When I review the Dataset Settings -> Gateway Connections, it shows the gateway or datasources are not reachable. The Auto Refresh and Manual Refresh is working perfectly. Why won't my Sharepoint Gateway resolve to allow me to select it from the dropdown. I am having this same issue in multiple workspaces on multiple datasets that share this source.
Data gateway
Hello , Need Help please I have created a data gateway to update my data on a powerbi report connected live to sql server. The Vm in which I installed this gateway doesn't exist anymore and I have no way to change the connection credentials to the new database. I have added new data sources to the gateway but they do not show up in the gateway connection settings. I have created a new gateway with new data sources but I can't select this gateway for the update of the powerbi report in question.
Share folder files gateway configuration
I want to schedule BI report refresh but I have several excel files saved in the shared folder. When I am trying configure the shared folder files in gateway, I use my windows credentials. But it does not work and I got error message "The credentials provided for the File source are invalid.". How can I configure the files in gateway?File and database via gateway on a Windows AWS Server
Hello everyone, I spent a week trying to connect a cloud report with the data in an AWS EC2 instance with a Windows server. My sources of data are a Microsoft SQL server in another machine and some excel and CSV files. My SQL server is running in another machine and can be reached via an internal AWS network and with the respective security group configuration. I could expose/"connect with the app" to the SQL server via a gateway install in my Windows server. I also have the files in the server but I can't expose them via the gateway, showing me bad credentials when I try to add them as files new data source. I also tried to upload and share via one drive, but I couldn't link the files via sharepoint. I hope someone could help me. Regards,
