Hello, I'm using Gantt 3.0.12.0 by Microsoft for the first time. I'm using it to format call center data to show how long an agent spends on each of their calls throughout the day. While the date/time source data is in 12-hour AM/PM format, the legend for the x-axis at the top of the chart shows it in 24-hour format. I've searched high and low for a setting in the chart's properties, to no avail. Likewise, the indivual start and end time fields are set to standard 12-hour format. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.SolvedGantt 3.0.12.0 does not render for ar-SA language in Power BI Services
Hi all, Is there a known issue that Gantt visual from Microsoft does not render in Arabic? I'm tring to apply Arabic translation for a Power BI Report where I have a Gantt visual but when I change the language to Arabic(ar-SA) from Power Bi Services the content doesn't render(please see the second image) Default browser language: Language set to Arabic:SolvedHelp with custom Gantt from Madison Giammaria
Hi all! I just came across an incredible looking Gantt from Madison Giammaria, built with the Deneb custom visualiser. I have been trying to produce the core functionality using my own dataset but after countless attempts I am not able to produce the visual in Power BI. I have no idea what is causing this issue and I was hoping to leverage the expertise here. Steps so far: Downloaded the Deneb visual and latest json code from the github repo. Mimicked the data, renamed my visual field names to match the expected value. Tried changing my table names directly to see if that helped. I have confirmed the data types and format match whats expected, by leveraging the example pbix provided. I even replicated the "root" row to see if that helped. Expected view: My current view: The Log errors show: [Error] Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'enabled') [Error] Cannot read properties of null (reading 'length') As you can see nothing is generating within the visual itself, and I am completely lost to what the problem is. I appreciate any and all help. I know this would be extemely powerful to use for my use cases and would like to get it working. Thank you, TomSolvedQuestion on Gantt chart capability
Hi, I have been trying to use the Gantt chart visual in Power BI, version 3.0.12.0. I have two questions on how to use the visual: When I have a parent task and a number of child tasks that can be rolled up under - when I roll up with the "-" sign on the visual the bar shown does not show progress just the overall rolled up duration - is there any way to show an average or similar for all the child tasks progress? The space I have for the Gantt chart is limited but I cant find a way to change the timeline scale so the entire chart fits into the available space - the visual uses a horizontal scroll bar. Is there a way to change the timeline scale so I can see the full schedule without the scroll bars? Thanks!Limiting the timeline/x-axis in Gantt Chart
I have attempted to build roadmaps using two different Gantt visuals (@Gantt 2.2.3 and @AdvancedGanttChart) to display tasks and milestones from the period 2022 - 2027. In my report, I would like to only show the current year and its quarters, namely 2024 Q1 - 2024 Q4. I have tried to use a filter and a date table related to my data, but tasks and milestones that don't start or end in 2024 are being removed. Any one having a solution to this? The images displays from Q1 2022 to Q4 2028, whereas I only want to focus on the section for 2024. Advanced Gantt Chart: Gantt 2.2.3Gantt Chart with Multiple Tasks on a Single Row
Hi all - Looking for a visual in a Gantt-style chart. My needs revolve around staffing - I have employees that work on reviewing products, broken up by category. There are multiple reviews happening on staggered timelines year-round, with busy durations and calm durations. I am trying to see all reviews in a gantt view with the durations of craziness and calm identified on one row, all against each other, so I can strategically assign my employees so that the busy durations do not overlap. I am having trouble having multiple start/end dates appear on one row. If I have Task 1 starting in January and ending in March, and I would like to format that time frame as "red" for busy and then immediately following, Task 2 which begins when Task 1 ends and goes through April as "green" formatting to indicate calm. Any recommendations on how to use multiple start/end dates on the same row, so that I can keep dates on the X Axis? I'm being forced to either pick one task or use durations only, and neither are useful without the other. This is my end goal: Thank you!Gantt 2.2.3 - remove Day when viewing Hour Date Type
Hi all, I'm able to render a daily schedule visualization pretty easily: I have two questions: Is there any way to remove the day that is listed in parenthesis across the horizontal axis? I have the Date type set to "Hour". Is there any way to change the font size of the horizontal axis so that I can fit the entire chart on one screen, without a scrollbar?Visual Similar to Gantt Chart
Hello- I am looking for a visual that can allow me to automate this view in Power BI: Currently, the raw data is in row format with Start Date, End Date, Event Type, Event Name, and more columns. I would like the calendar year view on one screen with Event Type on the y axis and the Event Name in the chart. I have come close by trying a Gantt Chart. Below is the result of using PowerGantt Chart: However, the Gantt Chart lacks the following: Grouping: I would like Event Type to be the only Y axis with Event Title in the chart. Side by Side: Events side by side if they are under the same grouping PowerGantt Chart is the best option so far but it requires a paid license; the Microsoft Gantt Chart is not as strong (Rolls up to Day view max, not month)/Axis cannot be expanded That being said, is there a visual that mimicks the view of a Gantt Chart while fulfilling these needs? Hello- I would like a visual that offers Start and End Date bars for events in a Matrix. I have put my data into a matrix like this with Start Date used as the Column. However, being a Matrix and not a Gantt chart, there is no End Date option. I would like the visual to take the event and extend it to the End Date, like this: Is anyone aware of a Visual that offers this? Thank you711Views0likes1Comment
