Add ALL to list of values in a Paginated report parameter
Hello All, I have added ALL as a row value to one of my parameter in paginated report with below DAX. EVALUATE UNION ( DISTINCT(SELECTCOLUMNS(Projects, "Top_ProjectManager","ALL")) , SUMMARIZECOLUMNS( Projects[Top_ProjectManager], KEEPFILTERS( FILTER( ALL( Projects[Top_ProjectManager] ), NOT( ISBLANK( Projects[Top_ProjectManager] )))) ) ) In my master dataset now I need to make the query work as By default the parameter value should be selected ALL, so I have made Parameter default values as below. when ALL is been selected, the report should view all of the values in that column. If any perticual value selected then the report should filter based on that. The master dataset query i have written as below FILTER(VALUES(Projects[Top_ProjectManager]), OR(Projects[Top_ProjectManager] = @ProjectManager, @ProjectManager = "ALL")) But in dataset properties Parameters query what should i mention i am unable to understand it. Paginated report parameter issue
Hi, I creating a Paginated report using Databricks as datasource. I have created a Power BI Dataset using Databrciks as Datasource and I added Power BI dataset as Source in paginated report. And Added the dataset from power Bi service which is from Power Bi Dataset and I created a paginated report still here everthing is fine but I have two tables(Datasets) using the report from same power Bi dataset datasource. There is common column in both the tables which is Condiiton_ID. First table 1) DS_Condition 2) DS_Values I have created parameter using dataset DS_Condition and it working fine and showing data for DS_Condition where it is used. I have added same parameter for DS_Values it is not working. getting error: The parameter <ccon>@Condition_ID</ccon> is not referred in the query. ---------------------------- Query execution failed for dataset 'PPM_Values'. ---------------------------- An error has occurred during report processing. ---------------------------- An error occurred during local report processing. I am goal is to filter data for two Datasets using one condition..
Workspace Name (Exporting file containg Power BI usage)
Hello, I am currently sitting with a lot of raw data received from our IT department in order to make simple statistics of the Power BI usage by our users. In the regard I came across one column, which contains the workspace name that the report has been viewed in. However, I am very unsure what this actually means. The column contains following text: WorkSpaceName"":""PersonalWorkspace-Employee" and other fields containing the same script but with my department instead of Employee. I expect, as my department are responsible for creating, developing and publishing these specific reports, they should all be opened through our workspacename. How can it be that some employees have viewed it through their "own". Is there a way to "download" the reports made by others down to your own workspace and share it with others (e.g., external contacts) or?
Embedding PowerBI onto a Website
Hi there! I am looking to embed a PowerBi report onto my website for external visitors to view. I have the following questions, if anyone could help i would be most appreciative! If any, how much of the underlying data will be visible when publishing on the web using a free/pro license? Is user access to the data to the extent of what is shown on the dashboard or is there an ability for users to download the original data. What are the risks of sharing those dashboards, via the iFrame code? If we’re publishing to a private site requiring log in credentials to access the site, what do I need to consider regarding the security of the underlying data in this case. What authority does Microsoft have on dashboards published using free license? Please advise with respect to underlying data as well as overall right to the final product I.e dashboard. Would it be possible to host 5-10 years worth of real estate data on Azure as a daily/weekly/monthly data dump from our MLS® System? How much will the Power BI Cloud Service cost monthly for paid dashboarding? Does this service require the data to be residing in the cloud or can the data be stored locally? 8. What are the major differences between Power BI Cloud vs. Reporting Server offerings?
